Constructionline Gold membership is open to suppliers who go above and beyond to prove that they comply with rigorous health and safety standards. As well as complying with all requirements at a Constructionline silver level, gold members demonstrate that they meet further management and equality standards. Through passing the extended pre-qualification questionnaire, gold members can evidence their compliance and commitment to meeting legislation covering topics such as Equal Opportunities, Modern Slavery and Anti-bribery and Corruption.

CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is an accreditation scheme for the construction industry, clients will often require CHAS registration as a compulsory element before they will allow you to tender for their work, and this is being seen more often in the public procurements such as for councils, schools and other public sector bodies.
The purpose of CHAS is to help both buyers and suppliers in the assessment of a company's health and safety competence; Helping buyers to have confidence in the supplier and not having to assess contractors health and safety standards on an individual basis. Helping suppliers (contractors) by reducing the time consuming process on completing and submitting full details of health and safety processes on each project they compete for.
